The dementia-friendly digital wellness platform
How do you create dementia-friendly digital wellness platform empowering Activity Coordinators to plan, deliver and evidence outstanding wellness?
Motion Exercise offers fun and engaging exercise sessions through a live-streaming device to care home residents to improve their overall health and happiness. They were wanting to enhance their offer by creating a tool that supports them to improve the well-being of residents and their own personal well-being through a range of high quality resources and activities.
Setting the scene
To begin, Motion Exercise and Razor needed to gain insight into how care home staff currently manage activities and operations within the care homes. Motion Exercise conducted an analysis to identify the needs and goals.
These findings were presented to Razor in an innovation workshop where Razor used goal setting, persona creation, and user story mapping to understand the scope and user experience of the platform.
Once the analysis was completed, Razor created a set of wireframes for the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that were taken to care homes for user feedback. Motion Exercise had a clear idea of what the platform needed to do, but sought guidance on the technical and product strategy to achieve this.
Razor worked with Motion Exercise to understand their go-to-market plan and developed a strategy to support this across product, technical, and delivery aspects.
What we delivered
Razor provided a product roadmap, technical plan, and a set of wireframes that can be utilised to validate and present to potential clients. The team got to work on building the web application using React giving care homes features to schedule, manage and perform activity through the portal.
