Razor and Ticket Tannoy Team up to Combat Touts

We're proud to say that we'll be working with Ticket Tannoy, a London based business, which has made a name for itself within the electronic music genre, in particular, to help improve their systems and ensure a consistently great experience for concert-goers.

Our brief will involve a project to reconfigure Ticket Tannoy's digital offering, undertaking a full audit, resulting in a much better experience for Ticket Tannoy's customers. Ticketing platforms have experienced huge growth in recent years, but some have struggled to keep up with the pace of change.

One particularly exciting aspect of the work will see us work with Ticket Tannoy to launch a secure ticket resale platform, helping to combat the perennial problem of secondary ticketing. This will help customers find tickets at a fair price, and help protect against scams by touts. The issue of secondary ticketing has caused much debate in recent years, with some high-profile performers speaking publically against the hugely inflated prices that can be offered.

Our CEO, Jamie Hinton, said: "Ticket Tannoy is a technologically advanced business, with a great offer. Over the next few months, we'll work together to improve their platform and make sure they're giving their customers the very best experience. There's been a huge surge in online ticket sites launching in recent years, and it's an industry that needs to give great customer service in order to promote loyalty. Ticket Tannoy has taken a fresh approach, and we look forward to helping revolutionise this industry together."

Charlotte Dunckley Head of Business Development at Ticket Tannoy said: "Ticket Tannoy was initially built by event promoters, for event promoters. This gives us a great insight into the market and the ways we can really help both our customers and event organisers. We're ready to make the leap from being a good ticketing platform to being a great one, and as such, working with Razor is set to be a really exciting time. We'll be working on how our customers are able to use and enjoy the site, which will include improving the performance of the platform and introducing a range of new features that will put the customer first."

The work will also involve an element of forward-thinking, which may include introducing customer incentives, such as rewards for frequent users, and the introduction of an intuitive App to support the platform. Part of the brief will also a focus on making Ticket Tannoy much easier to find and explore.
