Karl Connolly

Karl has over 20 years of diverse IT experience. He began his career as a hardware and software solutions engineer at EMC Corporation, where he earned two software engineering patents. As a founding member of the EMC VSPEX team, Karl played a pivotal role in bringing Converged Infrastructure and EMC's first Hyperconverged Solution, VXrail, to market. In 2014, Karl earned his Doctor of Law degree and was admitted to the Massachusetts bar, practising law for 3 years before joining Ingram Micro as Chief Technologist for Advanced Solutions. In this role, he worked on various solutions for channel partners, including building a 5G framework with carriers. In 2024, Karl co-founded Netmaven, a 5G consultancy firm, where he serves as CTO/CMO. His goal is to help customers and partners transform their IT environments with 5G technology.

Martin Alcock

Martin has been working in tech for 16 years at every scale, from websites serving millions of users a day, to award-winning boutique Augmented Reality experiences for Sheffield Children's Hospital. A designer turned developer, he now specialises in digital transformation consultancy, with a particular interest in leveraging digital twins to maximise organisational efficiency.
